An update to the recent news stories has revived my old and ignored blog…
Moments ago, the WebRadiance server was spotted for the first time since Friday lying in a gutter, in the early hours of this morning, but has not been seen since. As reported on WebRadiance.com (from our far more reliable temporary server), our main server has had some trouble:
Guess what? Our server went out drinking and apparently took a short cut through a shady neighborhood on its way home. We’re out looking for it and hope to have her home safe and sound very soon.
Seriously? Well our server may well be fine, but we don’t know. Unfortunately our hosting company are moving their data center, and while this (apparently) shouldn’t present a problem we’re having big trouble sorting it out. Hopefully WebRadiance should be back soon and hopefully nothing has gone wrong elsewhere. If you’re desperate for your WR fix, then this blog’s comments system may somehow reconnect you with your fellow WR members… at least until we get the site back up!

It was nothing personal.
I just need some bait, a lure to bring the code demon.
So I put her in chains, and sat, and waited. It made me sad
to see her, looking at me a little confused but still trusting.
Just a matter of time now.
